Another saturday of gaming to share:
1940 MAY15TH 1st German attach on the French village of Stonne.
15mm figures.....
German artillery set up in support of the armoured advance on Stonne.
German troops advance on the first line of french resistance.
German get air support to destroy French artillery. Stukas destroy most of the guns.
German armour advances up the main road in a race to get to Stonne before the French tanks.
but French road blocks and fire from the infantry delay the tank advance. French armour arrives in Stonne and stops the first German attack.
The other game was a large 15mm Napoleonic battle : French v Austrian with their allied forces. The use of several tables with several corps deloyed on both sides. Terrain and figures looked brillient! 1809
