The above three images are from a game put on by Darren covering the 1807 campaign in Poland. 15mm figures and terrain.
It used the Snappy Nappy rules, three tables, six or seven players plus umpire and was completed in five hours and produced an historical result.  Excellent fun!

FollowByEmail widget is going away

Dear Gentle Readers,

In their infinite wisdom Google have recently provided this advice.

While "going away" sounds cute, it sounds more like termination with extreme prejudice.

Furthermore, and more importantly, if you are receiving this by email, it probably means that you are availing yourself of the FollowByEmail widget.  If the advice from Google holds and assuming there is no ready alternative, you will no longer receive emails providing the posts to the NWS blog.

So it goes.

EDIT

On closer inspection of the information provided in the links, there is this reassuring message:

For many users, no action is required. All existing feeds will continue to serve uninterrupted...
